Our selection of marine-safe window films are constructed with metal-free, anti-corrosive materials to eliminate the damaging effects salt water can have on traditional metallized window films. Generally this means 90% of films stable for sea use are dyed or ceramic in construction, offering a colour-stable grey-black coloured finish to the glass. Unfortunately, silver and reflective window films may experience premature breakdown when regularly exposed to sea water due to metal-based materials used.
